The genial mascot of Ranua Wildlife Park

The genial mascot, Jonne the Polar Bear, is a polar bear character that pads around the park and growls to the visitors in a friendly manner. Jonne is a fellow quick in his moves, and not necessarily always available. Of the four polar bears of Ranua Wildlife Park, Jonne is the only one allowed to move freely along the park grounds. Other polar bears spend their time in their large pens!

You can see Jonne by the domestic animal park and the Fairytale park on the hour between 16 June - 12 August. In June, every day between 12.00-16.00, and in July between 12.00-17.00.
