Ranua Wildlife Park is a great experience specially in the winter!
Have you ever visited the snowy wildlife park, seen arctic animals in their authentic environment?
The first season of Ranua Wildlife Park’s winter is darkness and, bit by bit, the sunbeams of the late winter bring their own luminous addition to the winter. During the period of darkness, the arctic wildlife park in Ranua, Lapland, is a fabulous place to visit with its ice sculptures and structures. You can move around smoothly with sleds and kick sleds, and they are free of charge to our visitors.
During the springtime skiing holidays and Easter, you can meet the park mascot, Jonne the Polar Bear, or watch animal feeding shows that make the animals do the finest of tricks.
By the park route there is also a bivouac, where the visitors have the opportunity to warm up, or perhaps do some camp-fire sausages. You also have the opportunity to enjoy husky and reindeer sled rides, and snowmobile rides in the wilderness. These services are provided by local private entrepreneurs.
