RanuaZoo Camping is equipped with a kitchen and dining facilities, a grill, saunas and showers, a washing machine, a children’s playground, a car wash point, and a toilet disposal point. RanuaZoo’s restaurant Jussan Pirtti, Fazer candy shop, souvenir shop Jussan Paja, and Linna Souvenirs complement the camping services. Right next to RanuaZoo Camping there is a nature trail equipped with a Lapland hut and a bivouac. Our local service provider, Wildlife Safaris, also arranges guided quadbiking, hiking, fishing, and canoeing trips.

RanuaZoo, located in the immediate vicinity of the caravan area, offers many memorable experiences also for those with caravans. Along the park route, you will meet several kinds of species and entertaining animal individuals, such as the otter rascals Harry Otter and Olli. Small baby animals born in the spring also bring their sweet addition to the experience. In the wild boars’ pen you can very well see striped little piglets, and the wolf pack grows, as new little wolves are born. During the summer we will also see how well the polar bear ladies have charmed Manasse, our male polar bear!

RanuaZoo Camping is an excellent base, whether your intentions are short or longer trips to the wilderness of Ranua or to RanuaZoo. The caravan area is open between 17th Feb - 11th March 2012 and 31st March - 8th of April 2012.

Prices:

Basic fee 13 EUR, electricity + 2 EUR, tent place 10 EUR and personal fee 2 eur / person.
